Supporting new mums in breastfeeding and helping create that special bond between mum and baby is central to the Philips Avent brand proposition. Working with the Philips Avent team, Point 6 created a toolkit for midwives and healthcare professionals to help them encourage new mums to breastfeed for longer.
The project included professional print ads, advertorials and newsletters. We also created educational assets, demonstration kits, introduction to breastfeeding presenters, posters, factsheets and breastfeeding guides (both print and video).
We are incredibly proud that the Philips Avent Guide to Breastfeeding film we made for our client has now reached over 1.4 million views.
Hats off to Supermum Fiona, founder and creator of TotsBots, the organic reusable cloth nappy company. Inspired by her own experience as a parent concerned about the environmental impact of disposable nappies, TotsBots started as a cottage industry from her kitchen table. Fiona and partner Magnus have since grown the business which now exports and trades worldwide and has products in many UK high street stores.
Point 6 have been delighted to work with the team over the years, developing the charming and fun brand proposition, product packaging design and digital offering.
Frustrating and fun in equal measures, weaning is an important mum and baby milestone. Guaranteed to present hillarious photo opportunities that mum can use to embarass their offspring in later life, it’s best approached with good humour, patience and a handful of wipes.
Point 6 recently worked with the Philips Avent DACH team to produce a toolkit of goodies to help market the new 4-in-1 steamer blender. Included was this delightful recipe book. Designer Denise had huge fun researching the tasty but simple, nutricious recipes and choosing just the right lifestyle shots to engage. We think she captured the mood perfectly.
Not long after weaning comes teething – and all mums know how important it is to keep gums and growing milk teeth clean and healthy and grumpy toddlers happy.
Our client, Wisdom, is a UK dental healthcare specialist. Initially known as a toothbrush producer, in the last couple of years we have designed new packaging and POS as their ranges expanded to include toothpaste, mouthwash and interdental products.
One favourite project was to engage parents and youngsters in good dental health through the Wisdom Step by Step range of toothpaste and mouthwash. With children of his own, Graham, our Design Director had first-hand experience – which helped inspire us to create this bespoke packaging.
And finally… celebrating ALL new mothers, the team could not resist including a snap of this adorable baby gorilla, the first ever in the UK and one of only 10 worldwide to be delivered by cesarean section.
Keepers at the Bristol Zoo called on the services of a top NHS gynaecologist after the mother, a critically-endangered Western lowland gorilla, was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. The baby was delivered safely and both mum and baby are recovering well.
Staff at the zoo are looking after the little one and we particularly approve of their preferred choice of bottle brand.
