Junior Copywriter

Point 6 is looking for another junior copywriter – a newly created role due to our business expanding and the ongoing success of our design and copywriting team.

A little bit about us

We’re an integrated design and branding agency based in West London. We create digital and print marketing and communications for business-to-business clients and consumer brands in the UK, EU and US – we’re proud to be their perceptive partners. This is an amazing opportunity for a commercially-focused and talented junior writer looking to grow their career in a creative, friendly, collaborative and highly respected agency.


The role

The role will involve learning about our clients’ worlds and writing persuasively about them. On any given day you may find yourself writing about how smart technology benefits shoppers, the benefits of systems integration via the Internet of Things, or crafting a global press release.

The content you write for will range from social posts, websites and online thought pieces to presentations, animation scripts and brochures. You’ll work with complex, often technical source material to create clear and engaging on-brand content for a wide range of digital and print campaign materials.

Working in a motivated and close-knit team of talented creatives, designers and production experts, you’ll also learn to play a role within our agency team of brand guardians – often supporting non-native English speakers in our clients’ teams with guidance on copy.


The candidate

You will be a self-motivated, versatile and aspiring junior writer who will thrive in what is an empowering and at times self-managing role, but you’ll also get support and guidance from a senior copywriter, as well as the rest of the team, and you’ll be working alongside another copywriter at a similar level. You’ll be capable of balancing multiple projects and deadlines, and proactively managing your own time.

A desire to write for a professional audience is essential, as well as an appetite for learning how best to write succinct, on-brand communications within well-defined guidelines. You’ll be client-friendly and be happy to discuss projects with clients both on the phone and face-to-face.


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably in a communications-related discipline)
  • Proven writing ability – at least one year’s experience of copywriting
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong communication skills are essential – face-to-face, over Skype, and via email
  • Experience of writing in US English is an advantage, but not essential

Starting salary: £22,000
