The results are in from the Great Place to Work anonymous survey we took part in at the beginning of this year and the results are overwhelmingly positive, officially qualifying us as a Great Place to Work.
"Overall this company is a great place to work. They're fair, encouraging, transparent and honest. The team has a real family feel and it's through the hard work of the management that this is now the case."
Of the 66 questions each company member was asked, we scored completely positive answers in 38. We are all very proud of this, as being a Great Place To Work is undeniably a group effort.
"The whole team has a positive mindset, living in our 'people first' culture, by being supportive and helping each other to succeed."
Everyone also had the opportunity to write down some of their thoughts — what the company does well, why it is a unique workplace, and anything we may need to improve on. The latter comments provide valuable feedback to inform future decisions we make for the company, and the former tell us what we need to continue doing.
"Everyone has weekly one-to-ones with a director in the business. These regular check-ins allow everyone space to contribute, air concerns or share successes. I don't know many other businesses where the leadership team spare as much individual time for its staff."
Our score will be judged in the 'Best Workplaces 2024' evaluation later this year – we have our fingers crossed! The comparison scores for this year's cohort aren't out yet, but if the 2022 scores are anything to go by, we expect to rank highly.
Compared with the 2022 top five companies in our sector (Top 5 Small Companies), we scored more in 21 of the 25 categories! This includes categories such as community, collaboration, justice, leadership behaviour, and integrity.

We are delighted that everyone in the company loves working here, but this is much less a celebration of how great Point 6 is, than it is a celebration of how great Point 6ers are. To sum up what makes Point 6 a great place to work we only need two words. "The people."
